Welcome to Fluvanna's oldest organized foot race!
Friendship 5k is held the First Saturday of June each year.

The 5k Course
The racecourse is challenging, but the feeling of completing a good run makes it worthwhile. The course takes you by The Rivanna Resort and Golf Club and then does a leisurely wind through the woods here at Friendship. You will pass by the stables and cross over a lake then up a hill that has a steady grade, then onto the finish line at the gymnastic center. After this quick run through the woods snacks and goodies will be waiting for you at the center. There will be prizes awarded in a lottery after the race has ended. So hang on to those race numbers. After your run, feel free to get a short massage with cranial-sacral massage therapist -Denise Dodds.
Basic Info
Pre- Registration is January 1. 2011 to May 15, 2011. The cost is $25.00
Registration is 0645-0730 hours on Saturday. Fee for the run is $30.00 this includes a Tech running shirt,plenty of food and a goodie bag!
